Why You Should Sell Tickets On Eventbrite

By Juliet D'cruz

If you’re looking to sell tickets online for your event, you have probably considered a number of ticketing platforms. Not all platforms are created equal though. This is why you should sell tickets on Eventbrite.

Multiple Pricing Levels

For starters, not everyone has to adhere to the same price level. If you don’t need all the advanced features, you don’t have to pay for them. You can instead pay for a basic level called “Essentials.” If you need a bit more features, you can bump up to “Professionals.” If that is not enough, you can have access to all of their features under the “Premium” plan.

Intuitive System

Eventbrite is a fairly intuitive system, making it easy to use even for beginners. This means that you don’t have to spend hours trying to figure out the system and instead have your tickets up and ready for sale much quicker. It also means you don’t have to spend forever trying to get ahold of customer service.

Account Is Set Up Quickly

Unlike many other ticketing platforms, Eventbrite has your account set up and ready to go as soon as you are done filling out your information. Many platforms require some development time in order to create a functional account. Some can even take up to three weeks before you have access to it. These accounts of course do all the work for you to set up and sell the tickets.

Eventbrite on the other hand requires you to set everything up yourself. This may take some time if you are not super familiar with the system, but it more than likely results in your tickets being ready for sale much sooner.

Well Known Ticketing Platform

Another advantage of using Eventbrite is that it is a well-known ticketing platform. People will trust that your event is legit because they trust Eventbrite not to scam them. This can make your marketing efforts a lot more successful when people land on tickets that are being sold through Eventbrite.

Of course, you will still need to do quite a bit of marketing to spread the word about your event. It will just be easier to close the sale if you have a well-known ticketing platform to sell your tickets on.
